This patent made me wonder what kind of people is running the US Patent Office. This one dispelled all my doubts.

OMG! Unbelievable! A method for swinging?? We really, really, REALLY need to get back to the idea that patents are for novel inventions!

Absolutely. Actually, i find the first patent as shameful, sad and unbelievable as the swinging idiocy.

Should have been a red-flag – you can’t patent an implentation – you can only copyright it.
